First Alaskan Bridgejumping!!! And Pilgrim Hot Springs

After Friday clinic I went with some friends to Pilgrim hot springs. The drive was absolutely gorgeous (again). On the way there we stopped at the Grand Central Bridge, just before Salmon Lake. One of our friends was summoned to the “Ice Bucket for a cause” challenge, and instead of doing the ice bucket, he opted for bridge jumping into the coldest water…just short of freezing. And since we were there, we all decided we had to do it for solidarity. πŸ™‚ To be honest, when I first came and heard of bridge jumping here, I didn’t think I could ever do it. I’m not much of a cold-water girl.

With stories from Randy, a gold miner, whose great grandfather went out to mine the Yukon, and whose great grandmother was a surgeon from New York! What a fascinating heritage and so many incredible stories!
